     About Me

Once upon a time, long, long ago I was born. Poor and in a very undesirable family. After many years wondering, "Why me?",  I got married and stumbled on to a great job holding it for 23 years.
My life was American dream, a nice home, money, new cars, trips, nice restaurants, season tickets to Casa Manana, a good and good-looking wife and some pretty fair kids, Scott and Jeff.  I, now also have, a great daughter-in-law (Olia) and two great grand children ( Miranda and Mason).
One day, two guys wrote a book about corporations having "dead weight." They should get rid of some of the older folks and hire youngsters to run the operations! Someone with the company that I was with, read the book. One morning after I had come in at six o'clock in the morning, my boss and some friends (one friend by the name of HR) came in at nine o'clock and invited me to a meeting. I, once again, was back to "Why me?"
Just about the time I had decided to go back and beg for another demeaning corporate job, my sister-in-law sent me a brochure on longarm sewing machines. Well, after many long hours of working with this EEEEEASY sewing machine, I finally figured it out. I also figured out that I have a lot of fun working with quilters and quilts; It's not as easy as I thought but it's rewarding and I do not have a friend named HR.
So now that I am pretty good at putting batting in quilts and enjoy talking with quilters, send me yours and we'll chat for while.
By the way be sure after reading the above story ( Angie Kitzman, my web site designer told me I had to write this. If you need a great web designer you can contact her below) please look at the "quilters you should know link". I feature a quilter I have met, found out some interesting facts about, and wanted to share this person with other quilters.I will try to change this featured quilter on the 1 and 15 of the month. All quilters are interesting and have stories to tell. I wish I could feature everyone, so don't get upset If I haven't featured you yet!

Good quilting and make many more!
